At present, many other skin care preparations available on the market contain chemical ingredients–and the reason for this is the cost!  It is far less expensive to formulate and manufacture skincare products that contain chemical ingredients, because the technology and manufacturing are quite simple.  Also, the chemical formulations on today’s market are not as effective because the zinc oxide is potentially blocked by synthetics.

ZINC OXIDE has been used for many years in the cosmetic and skincare industry, widely known for it’s natural UV filter properities. It can work as a mild astringent when applied to skin.  Zinc is an essential mineral for healthy skin, made from zinc ore that is mined from the earth and purified for use in topical skincare products.

SULPHUR is a common antifungal used in many topical skin preparations.

TEA TREE OIL is believed to have antimicrobial and antifungal properties; absorbs easily into the skin and commonly used for various skin concerns.

SALICYLIC ACID is derived from the ivory bark of the American Aspen tree.  It exhibits a conditioning property that may act as a skin hydrator and softener.

CAMPHOR is commonly known to be used for skin irritation and itchiness and may help to improve the overall appearance of skin.

CHAMOMILE is topically calming to the skin and can help with the appearance of redness.

MENTHOL provides a cool, refreshing sensation to skin.

ALOE VERA provides soothing effects to dry or itchy skin.

EUCALYPTUS OIL is rich in antioxidants and soothes dry skin.

VITAMIN E is an excellent antioxidant.
